There is a free tier plus Pro, Premium, and Max, metered in monthly credits (4,000, 10,000, and 25,000) rather than in comments, and a 3-day trial. The structural detail beats the price here: the engagement feed, the part you would be buying this for, starts on Premium, not Pro. We are deliberately not printing Reepl's dollar figures, because their pricing page served us local currency and the secondhand figures floating around disagree with each other. Check it yourself, in your own region. Reepl is still the closest like-for-like swap if you like Engage AI's workflow but want content tools attached.

FlyEngage is part of Vengreso's FlyMSG browser extension suite, which bundles AI writing, text expansion, and social selling features. Vengreso describes it as generating responses to LinkedIn posts and comments, and FlyMSG has a free plan. Nothing on their site advertises posting for you, so treat it as a writing aid where you still click send. We are not quoting paid tiers, because the pricing link redirected and never gave us a canonical table; check theirs before you buy.

The honest framing for this whole group: they make the 40 minutes you spend commenting more productive. They do not give you the 40 minutes back. If your problem is that you keep skipping those 40 minutes, a better draft tool will not fix it.

This is a genuinely different category, and a riskier one, because the software takes the posting action.

Commenti targets creators and keywords you choose, writes in your tone, and either posts on its own or holds every comment for your approval. Pricing is $19, $29, and $49 per month billed yearly for 20, 40, and 60 AI comments a day. The first 200 users get a 60-day free trial. Those tiers are built around 20-60 new followers a day; results vary by niche, profile, and account history.

One design decision deserves an explanation, because it looks like a weakness on a feature grid. We do not sell an unlimited plan. Volume is the single loudest automation signal LinkedIn can read, so the cap is the product, not a paywall trick. An uncapped commenting tool is an account liability with a checkout page.

PowerIn calls itself the number one AI tool for automated comments on LinkedIn and X, and it targets by creator or keyword much like we do. Its site describes comments placed within roughly 30 minutes of a post going live, timezone targeting, multi-language detection, sensitive-content filtering, and an optional manual approval mode. Listed prices are $59 a month for 900 comments, $99 for 3,000, and $149 for 6,000, all billed monthly, with unlimited connected accounts. Pay yearly and those become $472, $792, and $1,192 a year, which is the figure to hold against anyone's annual plan, ours included. A pattern we see often enough to mention: people who switch from a drafting extension to an autoposting tool almost never do it because the drafts were bad. They do it around week three, when the daily habit quietly dies. If your last two commenting pushes ended that way, the tool category you need is this one, not a better draft button.

Commenting inside a bigger content suite: Taplio and Supergrow

Pick these if you also publish posts and want one login for everything.

Its pricing page advertises plans from $39 per month with a 7-day trial that includes full Pro access. Engagement is a module inside it rather than the point of it. Supergrow is the cheaper suite: AI interviews to capture your voice, repurposing from video, blogs, and PDFs, a scheduler, analytics, and team approval workflows. Its pricing page lists Starter at $19, Pro at $39, and Teams at $139 a month for four accounts, billed monthly, with 20 percent off for paying yearly and a 7-day trial. Note the detail that matters here: the "Engage" feature, a curated feed with AI comments, is a Pro-tier feature and is not on Starter. Suites are the right call when posting is your main channel. They are the wrong call when commenting is, because a module that competes with eleven other modules for roadmap attention will always be shallower than a tool that does one thing.

Tools mislabeled as Engage AI alternatives

Dripify, Expandi, HeyReach, Dux-Soup, and Waalaxy show up in "Engage AI alternatives" listicles constantly, and they are a different product category. Those tools send connection requests, InMails, and DM sequences. They are outreach automation.

Commenti does not send connection requests and does not send DMs. Neither does Engage AI. If your goal is a lead list worked with messages, none of the tools on this page will do it, and if your goal is visibility earned in public comment threads, an outreach sequencer will not do that either. Mixing the two also stacks two very different risk profiles on one account. Connection-request volume has its own weekly ceiling worth knowing before you combine anything.

How to choose without paying for three subscriptions

Answer two questions honestly.

First: is your problem drafting or discipline? If you commented on ten posts yesterday and disliked three of your own comments, that is drafting, and a free extension solves it. If you commented on zero posts yesterday and also the day before, that is discipline, and no draft tool has ever fixed discipline.

Second: how replaceable is your LinkedIn account this quarter? Active job search, sole client channel, or a profile that pays your invoices means the answer is "not at all", and you should stay on the manual side of this list regardless of what any pricing page promises.

Then run one tool for two weeks against a real target list rather than a trial-account experiment. A commenting tool's output only tells you anything once it is writing about posts in your actual niche. The risk paragraph most of these pages skip

LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits third-party automation. That covers Commenti, PowerIn, the automation features inside the suites, and, in a grayer way, every extension that injects into LinkedIn's pages. We state it plainly because a vendor who dodges this question is telling you something about their other claims.

Engage AI deserves specific credit here, and it is structural credit we cannot match. A person reading a post, editing a draft, and clicking send produces a human activity pattern, because it is one. No cap or randomizer imitates that as well as actually being human. What we can do is reduce risk: daily caps that keep volume boring, randomized pacing, skip filters that decline layoff posts and sensitive news, and an approve mode that keeps a person in the loop.
